Days of joy, days of sadness slowly pass me by
As I try to hold you, you are vanishing before me
You're just an illusion...
When I'm awaken, my tears have dried in the sand of sleep
I'm a rose blooming in the desert

I own 3 blogs -

Live 8 - achieved or failed it's goal?

I believe Live 8 failed it's goal - however I also believe that the G8 Summit will give more relief to Africa. There are many reasons why Live 8 was rubbish in my opinion and it starts all the way from Japan - to the last concert in Philidelphia. What the Japanese did wrong is they didn't advertise the G8 concert that much, or didn't show the Japanese population what it really about. Also the people they had performing there was rubbish - McFly? Bjork?where the hell was Dir En Gray!?*ahem* my point is, McFly is a petty band and non-poilitical. They should have got political or outspoken performers for this event, mainly Japan. The problem mainly with Japan and all the rest of the World was that most of the people were there just for the music - free tickets? The people won't put up a good enough fight. I have noticed on msn a message like this come up - ''Please put a 3 at the start of your name to show you have respect for the children who die every 3 seconds in Africa''. Unlike most people, I did not give in. 500,000 people with 3 at the start of their names won't make a spec of a difference! Flip, sorry about this, you must think I am really political, which i have been called by many people. Just when I have a view I am very strong about it. I did like some performances at Live 8 such as -

Greenday in Germany
Black Eyed Peas in Philidelphia
Robbie Williams in Hyde Park
Mariah Cariah in Hyde Park

That is abit random, Greenday - American rock, Black Eyed Peas - hip/funk, Robbie Williams - British rock, Mariah Cariah - slow pop mostly. My favourite would have to be Mariah Cariah. Anyway, onto some recent news, I only chosen to do that report on Live 8 because I could not think what else to write at 04:27am on a Saturday morning!

''When a hero falls...a legend will rise'' - Casshern.
Casshern is a Japanese fantasy film about a soldier(Casshern, above) who died when he lifted a babie from on top of a grenade, and accidently triggered the grenade. His mother was blind and shortly died after she found out he was dead, It was very traggic for her. He was very close to his seargent/commander/whatever the Japanese call it in the 21st century. His commander was also a scientist. However there was one experiment that went wrong involving cyborgs. A alien(that's what i would call it) force came from the sky and somehow, the cyborgs came to life. Most of them were killed off tho, but 4 survived...

This was the leader of that pack and yes - he is the evil one. The other 3 were his servents. i did not really understand the movie - as I downloaded it with no subtitles but what i can gather is that he wants revenge for his people, but one person stood in his way - Casshern. Casshern's dad was a scientist which was the person that made him look as he is (with the suit). I should probably not tell you anymore ^_^ The theme tune is from Utada Hikaru.

i was in Dublin on Thursday for a day *yay* got loadsa clothes and stuff which was kul. I also like Snow Patrol now, I got there 'Live at SomerHouse' dvd. I really like Dublin cause it is buzzing and is full of asian people hehe. Today my bro Andrew is coming home from France, can't wait to see him!!! :D
